Fees

Our fees are based on the length of your appointment and the therapist providing the service. Fees for your appointment won’t change based on the type of service or therapy provided during that time reserved for you. For example, 60 minutes of talk therapy, EMDR or couples therapy with a given therapist are all billed at the same rate. The fee for office and telehealth appointments is the same.

Our therapists’ fees vary based on their level of training and experience. Some of our therapists may have additional training that does not apply to your needs, and in that case more is not always better. We will always strive to match you with a therapist whose skills, schedule and fees are best suited to you.

Insurance

We are out of network with all insurance providers, and payment for therapy is an out of pocket expense.

If your plan includes an HSA or FSA card, we accept this as a method of payment for therapy. We can also provide a special receipt for services that you can use to file for out of network reimbursement from your insurance provider after paying for services. Feel free to ask more about this at your appointment.

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care (therapy) will cost, including total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services at least one business day before your service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you decide to schedule a service.

We will prepare a more detailed estimate for you after your first appointment once we better understand your needs and the recommended course of treatment. If you wish to know the cost of your first appointment prior to receiving that estimate, please ask us on the phone or review fee information for your therapist on their bio page.

If you received a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, call 1-800-985-3059.

Investing In Therapy

Our rates reflect the real cost of offering high quality therapy from enthusiastic, seasoned therapists so we can be most helpful to you. We hope to reduce your long-term costs by being incredibly helpful to you now, removing the time and expense of long-term therapy, medication/self-medication, loss of productivity, etc.

Here are a few payment options you can explore:

Ask your therapist for a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement
See if your health insurance plan includes an FSA/HSA account (we accept this method of payment directly)
Work with one of our skilled Associate level therapists for lower rates
Ask about rapid forms of therapy that may help with your concerns in a shorter amount of time
Talk with your therapist about enhancing growth and healing outside of therapy with practices like yoga, meditation, breathwork, journaling, reading, etc
